About Us

The Stirling & District Horticultural Society was organized in 1897 with Mrs. James Boldrick acting as President. For over a century, the Society has maintained its position in the community and has constantly promoted the beautification of the village of Stirling. Each year, hundreds of plants have been planted at the various parks, the Cenotaph, the Cemetery, the Library, the Covered Bridge, the Nursing Home, the Soccer Field and Municipal Buildings.... 10:00-10:45 Drop off, label and place entries. NOTE: Late arrivals
may be disqualified.
11:00-1:00 Judging; no-one permitted in the display area. 1:00-1:30 View entries, vote for “People’s Choice”, refreshments 1:30-2:00 Special Prizes Awarded, Judge “Q&A”
Only one entry per person per category allowed.

Wine And Design
Tuesday, July 8, 2025
7pm - 9pm (doors open at 630 pm)
Stirling Lions Club, Stirling Arena, 435 W Front Street, Stirling
This hugely successful event is being held for the 2nd time features: Professional Floral Designer Val Sills.
Val will lead an evening of Learning, Demonstrations, and Fun
Val will create examples of floral designs that will be representative of the SDHS flower show
design class categories (including the youth categories)
Open to young and old alike!
Cost: Members $5 Non-Members $10 Youth $ under 18 - free.
